Good News From Fox For a Change

Not only has The Simpsons been renewed for its 18th and 19th seasons, but the unjustly ignored King of the Hill, which had shut down production over a year ago, has been unexpectedly renewed for an 11th season.

I read about this yesterday and danced a jig. I was under the auspice it was over. Now we come to learn it is not. You're correct, it WAS a surprise. And I must say, I've just about HAD IT with "The Simpsons". I keep watching. But it's hit or miss-miss-miss these days.

There's NO SHOW ON TV like "King of the Hill". It is so special. Hank is a true hero. And Mr. Judge is a superior talent.

King of the Hill has been on for 10 years?! Holy smokes.

I am a die-hard Simpsons fan, so I may be biased, but I'm of the opinion that The Simpsons is resurgent these last few seasons.

As for King of the Hill, I know, Gina, I was stunned, too. And Max, I danced the same jig.

It will be tied at the end of season 11 with Married With Children for Fox's 2nd longest running show.

"For example Sadat thought Begin had excellent posture."

The signature line to my mind from King of the Hill.
