Not as long as we keep him in our hearts...

Some people will do anything to avoid seeing "America's Got Talent."

Norm,

Brilliant.

Mike,

I get the impression that many of your blog readers are writers like yourself. N'est-ce pas?

That's true in my case, but then, I'm a writer in much the same way that your server last night was an actor. Michael has that elusive je ne sais quoi that is referred to by those in the business as "talent", those watching and enjoying his progams as "talent", and pathetic embittered unfunny hacks like myself as... well, "talent," because, even I can't deny it's raining when my clothes are soaked.

Paul, they come from all walks of life: some are writers/bloggers, some are in entertainment, some are lawyers, some are in business, and one is a contestant for Miss FHM. She, to my mind, is the most talented of all.

And, to quote Neil Simon in Murder By Death: not N'est-ce pas. Hershey's.

And Sean, you are too kind. It's just a knack for which I'm lucky enough to get paid. Besides, I am jealous of others who can write a musical score or fix a car or install an electrical fixture or write code or other things I can't do.

And anyone who knows his/her way around a circuit board and a soldering iron is like Merlin to me.

As to the soldiering, actually, that'd be my dad who raised my sister and I, while fixing cash registers.
