My Friend Irma (and Nia)

This is a great way to start your Monday.

I'm a sucker for unlikely-animal-bonding stories, and this one is a good one. Baby Sumatran tiger cubs Dema and Manis are rooming with baby orangutans Nia and Irma. And loving it.

The four were abandoned by their mothers shortly after birth, and have bonded in captivity in a way they never would have in the wild. They've been playing and cuddling for a month, but sadly, in another month or two nature will win out over nurture and they'll have to be separated.

But if Disney movies have taught us anything, it's that years from now, grown-up Manis will be bearing down teeth-first on a juicy orangutan and suddenly stop short. "Irma? Is that you??"

And then their new adventure will begin. A journey that will take them through dangers that will thrill you and discoveries that will move you. Moments that will make you laugh and moments that might just touch your heart... and new songs by Elton John, Phil Collins, Counting Crows and Jack Johnson.

(This film is not yet rated.)

LOL, you need to get on the phone to Disney.

I absolutely love that picture of the orangutan making goo-goo eyes at the tiger cub. Off the charts cute :)
